Maxx Coffee Rolled Out Website and Ecommerce in Time to Secure Online Revenue Streams During Dine-in Restrictions

Maxx Coffee is an Indonesian coffee chain with stores in over 22 cities. The coffee chain entered the Singapore market in 2019 and needed a localised brand website that is also align with their brand’s direction.

MONI was appointed to help design and built their brand site. Yet shortly after its launch, the coffee chain was hit by the Covid-19 restrictions in the city. Maxx Coffee had to adjust its business model quickly to combat the losses from the dine-in restrictions imposed.

Solution

MONI was appointed to design and develop Maxx Coffee’s branded websites in accordance to their new brand direction. With their exponential growth backed by OUE Restaurant Group, MONI ensured all the country sites are designed and developed in synergy with the brand.

Quick Adaptation to the New Business Changes

An e-commerce site was quickly rolled out in days to ensure business continuity via online ordering and delivery. The original brand site was build on Drupal, MONI facilitated the rollout by quickly implementing Shopify as the ecommerce SaaS platform, and integrate it through a headless approach. With Drupal powering the frontend and Shopify powering the ecommerce capabilities. Maxx Coffee was able to stay more resilient with online revenue during the tough period of restrictions.
