Intercontinental Hotel Group, an international hotel brand, selected Monimedia to create a scalable and flexible e-commerce microsite to support their gift collection launches during major holidays and festivals, and ultimately increase sales and improve the customer shopping experience.
Year to year, Intercontinental Singapore celebrates 3 major festivals, Christmas, Chinese New Year, and the Mooncake Festive by producing a range of festive confectionery for sale and launching a range of festive promotions across their F&B outlets. Intercontinental Singapore needed an online platform to act as a hub for all promotional campaigns as well as online transactions for their products.
Monimedia chose Wordpress with a Woo Commerce module as the platform to drive their online store. With a simple-to-use product catalogue management, the client had the flexibility of re-using the festive site for different occasions. Monimedia continues to support the seasonal campaigns by designing a new festive site theme for each new festival. Overall, Monimedia was able to provide Intercontinental Singapore an all-in-one a solution to their operational and online retail needs, as well as provide customers with an improved online shopping experience.
